Today is WORLD Refugee Day. The national flag is flying at half-mast at CRESCENT SCHOOL to mark 7 days of official mourning for the late former president of Zambia, Dr Kenneth Kaunda. He is known for his assistance to refugees from African countries who were fighting for liberation from colonial rule such as Angola, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
