Dear Crescent parents.
After consulting with staff, management and the Board I have taken the decision to close Crescent School on Thursday, 1 April at 1230 for the end of first term school holidays. This is the day before the commencement of the Easter long weekend. We will return for second term on Wednesday, 5 May. We have recently had a surge in Covid 19 cases and we feel that this will be in the interest of everyone’s safety. We are concerned that if we break for Easter and return to class it might result in even more cases.
We brought the exams forward, therefore all classes will have completed exams by then.
Exam scripts and reports will be given to students early in second term.
We are discussing how best to administer exams to those who are away on quarantine and isolation and once we have finalized we will communicate with parents.
The dates for std 7 Cambridge Exams will remain the same and we will communicate with all std 7 parents.
Thank you
