Dear Crescent Community
I hope you are all well and staying safe.
As you have been made aware Mr Ramasamy has retired and there has been a smooth and amicable transfer of the stewardship of Crescent School to myself. This is a great privilege for me and I will endeavor to maintain the high standards and reputation of this well established and proud school.
I have over 20 years of experience in education in both public and private schools in Botswana and I have been a School Head in private schools for 10 years. I am passionate about education and hope to nurture an enabling environment for learners to flourish in all aspects being it academics, sports, co-curricular activities and character building.
I join you in an extraordinary time where an unseen virus is a catalyst for so much change in our lives, including the way we teach and learn. Crescent School will have to move with the times.
Together with my management team, staff and the Board we are working on getting the school Corona Compliant for second term, 2020 so that we can continue with our pursuit of academic excellence while ensuring the highest possible level of health and safety for your children. Once things are finalized I will communicate with you on how and when the school will re-open.
I hope to engage robustly with all stakeholders on how we can forge ahead with Crescents’ upward trajectory. Together we will build the best possible school for your children for years to come.
I look forward to the time when we can meet in person and get to know each other.
Regards
